FastFinAI — Terms of use

The basis on which FastFinAI is provided, and in particular what it does and does not determine about your accounts.

Last updated 2 October 2026

This document is a draft awaiting legal review. Passages in square brackets are placeholders that must be completed before it is relied on.

1. Who these terms are between

FastFinAI is provided by [PEACHBLOSSOMS LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("we") to the organisation that holds a subscription, and to the people that organisation gives accounts to ("you").

Where your organisation has signed a separate written agreement with us, that agreement takes precedence over these terms wherever the two differ.

2. What the service does, and what it does not

FastFinAI reads a bank statement and a set of accounting records, compares them, and reports the differences: what matched, what did not, what the difference amounts to, and what might explain it.

It does not determine that a set of accounts is reconciled, and it is not an audit, an accounting opinion, or professional advice. A reconciliation is recorded as reconciled only when one of your people reviews the analysis and signs it off under their own name. That person's judgement is the determination; the software supplies the evidence it rests on.

This is a deliberate design decision rather than a limitation of the current version. Whether a period's outstanding items are genuine is settled by the following period's statement, which the two documents in front of the software cannot show.

3. Your responsibilities

4. Accuracy, and the limits of extraction

Reading figures out of a PDF or a spreadsheet uses an AI model, and model output is not guaranteed to be complete or correct. The arithmetic applied afterwards is deterministic and repeatable, but it can only be as good as the figures it is given.

The service therefore checks its own reading where it can — against the balances a document states, and against its printed running balance — and reports when those checks do not agree. Those reports are there to be read, and signing off a reconciliation that carries them is your organisation's decision.

5. Availability and support

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Processing depends in part on a third-party AI provider, and its limits and outages affect us. [TO CONFIRM: any service level commitment given to the client.]

6. Your data

Your documents and the results produced from them remain yours. We process them to provide the service, and as described in the privacy notice. Uploaded source documents are deleted once a run finishes, and in any case within 24 hours.

Third-party open source software used in this service is listed with its licences, available on request.

7. Liability

[TO BE DRAFTED BY COUNSEL. This section should address the limit of liability, the exclusion of indirect loss, and the allocation of responsibility for decisions recorded through the sign-off mechanism described above. It should not be relied on until it is written.]

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
